4720 ordered !!

Finally made my mind up and ordered a 4720 yesterday. Will be replacing the current 3320.

My 3320 is pretty plain jane, but the 4720 is going to be loaded

Dealer has stated approximately 4 weeks.

Open Station 4720 (loaded compared to my current 3320)
400cx loader with third function hydraulic lines and standard 73" bucket
540/540e PTO
hood guard
auto style cruise
R4 tires
electric diverter kit (5 total scvs)
top-n-tilt kit


I think I'm really going to like the stronger loader, economy PTO, top-n-tilt kit, and SCVs to the rear. I have really enjoyed my 3320, but it didn't have any SCVs to the rear, and it had the standard 300x loader.

I stepped up last year from a 3720 to 4520, both with cabs. I switched from R4's to R1's on the 4520. Although the size specs are not dramatically different, the 4520 seems significantly larger and more powerful. Some of the feeling of larger is due to the height and clearance of the 4x20 series. The stability of the 4520 is vastly better than the 3720 and probably the most noticeable difference.

The 5083e was the other tractor in my sights when shopping; enjoy yours also.

(Any chance you could get the dealer to swap the standard "materials" bucket for the HD one before delivery? I think you'll be happier down the road..)
