4630 pto problems

Pto will not engage but pto brake is working ,linkage is good adj correctly,oil is new and right oil new filter, what's next before I have to split it?

Since no one else has replied, how do you know the PTO brake works? Do you have the repair manuals for the tractor?

It's an independent pto so there must be a clutch pack that that engages the input shaft. The brake just stops it from spinning when you shut it off. The brake is hydraulically actuated when you shut off the pro IIRC.
