4610 tachometer problem

My 4610 has 160 hours. Still under warrenty. The tachometer will work fine but after the tractor warms us the tach will go crazy and spin all the way around to 30 rpm's. It does it most times I use the tractor. Also the gas gauge only goes to 3/4 of a tank when completely full and when on the red line it only takes about 5 gallons to fill. Anyone experience this? Any quick fixes. The dealer will fix and I made him aware of the problem as soon as I got the tractor.

Deere builds a fine tractor overall but it seems like they can't build a gas gauge that works. Lot of 10-series and now 20-series owners report the same thing, and replacements/dealer 'fixes' don't seem to have much effect. So, good luck but don't tear your hair out if that doesn't get much better. That tach though, needs fixing. Don't think I've heard of anyone else reporting that problem. Knock on wood, mines been fine. (Gas gauge is not spectacularly precise though, like most Deeres).
