4600 Tie Rod

Has anyone changed a tie rod on a 4000 series. Is it reverse thread on the steering rod? Looks like they just unscrew from one another and the other end just pops out of the spindel housing?

Which tractor in which 4000 series? There are many.

Do you have the new rod ready to install?

Whoops! Missed that little clue.

Then the tie rod assembly looks like the pic (both ends the same part number), and suspect it is with normal threads, not reverse as there would be no reason.

Looks like each tie rod end threads onto the hyd. steering cylinder (#9).
