I have a 2017 4550 i purchased new,currently at 626hrs, really strong simple tractor, tractor not abused but worked.Has some weak points that I felt people should be aware of. Feb 2020 right front wheel bearing bad, replaced bearing, seals. Jan 2024 right front wheel bearing bad again, March 2024 front pinion and coupler stripped, the coupler is supposed to be the weak link but this one was the pinion splines. Dealer and mahindra rep refused warranty on each occasion. The bumper to bumper warranty should have covered first time wheel bearing went bad, coverage started Nov 2018, and now powertrain warranty seems useless as well. Don’t count on dealer or Mahindra making it right.

Yes, very hilly terrain.

Not good that those items aren't covered. I tend to keep mine in 2WD most of the time unless there is mud to contend with, or extra traction required.
