455 S/N location & Hydraulics

Just bought a Deere 455. Factory serial number sticker is missing, but I know the number should be stamped somewhere on the frame. Can anyone advise?

ALSO, is there a do-it-yourself way to lock out either the deck or 3pt. hitch independently of one another? i.e. raise and lower deck w/o raising or lowering the 3pt hitch and vice versa.

You can lock the lift arms for the deck up to the frame with the spring loaded J hooks but I am thinking it only works with the deck off. You can lock the deck in the up position with the height setting dial. You can tie the three point arms up and the deck will still go up and down. You could uncouple the strap that lifts the deck where it attaches to the pin through the end of the lift cylinder.
