4510 vs 4610

I don't see a thread regarding the differences between the engines in the 4510 and 4610. Is there a thread out there someone can point me to?

If not....what is the difference? I am very happy with my 4510 but would not be opposed at looking into increasing the HP if it is as easy to do as it was on my trucks. The engine numbers appear to be the same so what are my options?

Mark, while checking out the 4510 and 4610 to purchase a few months back, I was wondering what differences there were in the engine much like you. My understanding is the injectors may be different and thats about it. The JD 110 also utilizes the same engine and has 1 HP less then the 4610. The torque between the 4510 and 4610 is 5 ft lbs difference. The Kubota has the same deal with the L4630 and 4330.

Same engine just different internal parts and pump tweaking. It wouldn't be too hard to up your ponys and torque. I'd wait until your warranty was up though.
