445 seat adjustment

Ok just bought a 1999 445 and when I can't get the seat back far enough for my long legs. It doesn't go back very far it stops. Is there a way to bypass this by relocating the seat?

Well I really don't want to take it apart but I removed the seat, and the seat springs or whatever you call them. That left the 2 slides with WD-40 and a screwdriver and a small brass hammer I started tapping the the slides back and forth. Lots of dirt, rust and grass and black paint eventually came out and they loosened up. They now go back as far as they are suppose to.

I have one but it needs a new engine. I bought a top husqvarna and it works ok but its a rough ride. The 445 is like driving a Cadillac but built like a tank.

Yes I bet I also have a 1997 425 with about the same hrs. I just couldn't pass up this deal!! Both have 54 inch decks.
