4310 Hot Foot

4210 HOT FOOT AFTER TWO YEARS,CUSTOMER SERVICE CALL,COMMENTS MADE TWO TIMES IN WRITING 'THE WHOLE BACK END AND PLATFORM RUNNING THE PTO WAS SO HOT YOU CAN'T KEEP YOUR FEET ON THE PLATFORM UNLESS YOU HAVE BIRD FEET. As I have said earlier my old 4300 gear had this problem but what I don't get is how some of us got tractors with this prob and others did not. I mean the motors are all the same and so are the side panels.

I wondered the same thing. I have a 4300 and while it may get a bit warm by my pedal foot , it never gets hot enough to bother me even when i wear just a pair of sneakers.

Oh if I wore my sandals as i normally do weed whipping and mowing i could feel the heat and it was hot. Hot enough for me to move my foot.

I was wondering if anybody still has this problem or has there been a fix?
I still have extreme heat to my feat.

My 4310 does not have this issue. I mow, run aroun the neighborhood and still no hotfoot.
