4310 Front axle

I had the seal go out on the rt. front hub. I have the manual and thought, I can do this my self. Everything went well, the seal was 25.00 and some oil. To press it apart I used a gear puller. To put it back together just some heat to slide everything back together.

I have never seen this assembly taken apart.

How many hours do you have on the machine? Any cause for the seal leaking?

Yup, good to know it's home doable if the need ever arises, How bad a leak was it? and I'm curious about the hours as well, mine has about 350 hrs.

Thanks guys, The leak was to the point of leaving a small puddle on the floor. The cause?... I was pushing a lot of brush, and I think it might have gotten into the seal. I have about 580 hours on it. I wish I would have taken more step by step pictures. Everyone on this site has helped me so much, it's nice to give back
