aluminum case with steel shafting is what is causing the problems. I had these issues on 3 pt feedback and the brakes on both sides. It was a constant battle that only ended when the tractor was no longer in my possession. I had a 4300 for 10ish years. It was a great tractor for it's size but there were small things that just drove me nuts with it.

No problem with the 4300 in 23 years, with the 3pt lift system.
