425 CARBURETOR REPAIR KIT

Good Morning from New Hampshire.... my '93 425 (still going strong) SN: M000425A013701 with ENGINE MODEL: FD620D - AS02 is in need of a major tune-up, looking for the correct Repair Kit. THANKS.....

I could see spark plugs, filters, and such, but if it's running fine I would not ask for trouble by tearing into the carburetor. If you're having problems you may wish to start with a float adjustment. I tend to leave carburetors as a last resort. You may get a deal on a new carburetor or kit on eBay. Don''t be too surprised to find a kit costs almost as much as a brand new carburetor.

Thanks Roadworthy, K7LN....Yup agree, we always used that saying in the Navy and within the DOD Industry...……. I was gathering parts for a complete maintenance and thought maybe...……..

Hey K7LN, I see you have a 790, in fact I believe you've helped me in the past. Where in the heck does the hour meter cable connect to, my meter stopped a while ago and I want to trace it with out having to take the instrument panel apart. Maybe it became disconnected or something, I see it's a $15.00 part if that's the case...……..
