The controller went out recently prohibiting my tractor from moving forward or backing up. Am I out of line feeling that part should be covered since I have 1800 hours on the tractor. Seems like the John Deere customer service people don't want to get involved. Is there anyone else to report this experience to within john Deere?

Ask your dealer service manager to contact his Deere service rep. see if they will help with a special allowance, sometimes if handled correctly they may pay all, half or go 1/3 each, dealer, Deere, Owner

That's bumper to bumper. But there's more warenty than that. I think the drive train is three, yes? Perhaps they could squeeze it in under that?

Most 10's had a two year drivetrain warranty. The last off the line MIGHT have been upped, but I don't think so...

I need to read my warranty closer. I thought they were all 2 yr 2000 hours - period.

You will probably find that you have a 3 year driveline warranty, two year bumper to bumper (or at least where bumpers would go!) on your 4720...
Ferris, I'm not sure you are looking at the warranty right. If you have 2 yrs 2000 hrs. That means which ever comes first. So if you pass the 2 yrs, the 1800 doesn't mean anything, as you passed the 2 yrs. If you passed the 2000 hrs in one year, you are done also, which ever comes first. I'm not trying to be smart, its just sometimes we look at things the wrong way, and I thought maybe you were is all. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
