4120 Steering Column PIP

Does anyone have a photocopy or a type up of the PIP Product Improvement for sound deadening at the steering column? I searched the forums where some people have had the work done at the dealer where some insulation was installed around the steering column. Is there a part number available for the kit for me to be able to install? Thanks in advance for your help.

There was never a PIP for this. Deere did post a solution for it if customer complained. It was not a widespread problem. There are three pieces of insulating foam. Part numbers:LVU16951, LVU16952, and LVU16953. Two pieces go in steering column covers and one under the steering wheel cover.

OK, thanks for your help. Do you think that will significantly reduce the noise at the steering wheel? It can be quite noisy at times.

OK, thanks for your help. Do you think this will significantly reduce the noise at the steering wheel? It can be quite noisy at times. Also, my steering column cover is all rubber. Will the foam still fit in there even if I don't have the bolt on plastic covers that go on the sides?

By the way, the 1st part # shows that it is no longer available but the other 2 pieces are. Does the 1st part number supercede?
