4110 Surging

Hey guys hows it going. Been lurking here for a while and have gotten tons of good info. Now i have a question of my own. After the engine gets up to temp and i have been mowing with the bushhog and i disengage the pto and bring it back down to idle the engine surges so bad that it will kill the motor. Anyone have any idea on this problem? Thanks in advance.

Check and make sure your fuel filter is clean .

I'm thinking filters too. If that doesn't do it, you could have a sensor or idle control issue.
