Is there an adjustment to the lever? I have a new 4110 about 15 hrs. As I use the shuttle lever the travel seems long, If I am not careful (and positive) as I shift sometimes it doesn't go in. No big deal, but I don't know it, I rev the eng then I realize nothing is happening, I stab the clutch and if I don't let the revs come down it will grind as I try to put it in. I don't like that sound. So as I asked is there an adjustment so the throw is shorter?

There is an adjustment to center the throw of the shuttle shifter, but not one (to my knowledge) that shortens the throw. I have noticed this when people try the tractor out, but they get used to the length of the throw and it doesn't seem to bother them. Good luck!

I have about 15 hours on my 4110 also and ocassionally do the same thing, also anyone I let play on it does within the first couple of shifts, even after I tell them specifically to be sure and push or pull firmly. I was kinda wondering myself if there was something whong with my tractor. Guess that is a common quirk though.

I'm glad nothing appears wrong. I'll just make sure I make positive shifts. Thanks for the input!
