2665 shuttle shift- Shift adjustment?

I've got a 2665 with just under 300 hrs on it. The shuttle shift is extremely clunky- you have to fight it to engage, sometime it misses and grinds horribly. I've found double clutching helps to get it into gear, but it is horrible compared to my previous shuttle, a 2655, which was very smooth back and forth. The manual, as usual, sucks, with no info.

Has anyone adjusted or have any info on adjustment procedure for the shuttle linkage? Something has to be misaligned.

Old T I have a 2023 2660 cab with auto shuttle that has little adjuster knobs and the owners manual says only tractor dealer can adjust cant find the adjust procedure any where , the tractor was made by TYM with a mahandra engine love the tractor and engine but it is extremely rough on the auto foward to reverse the only way I have been to solve the problem is decrease rpm to idle rpm it is then smooth shifted and the round knob for increase rpm control makes it a easy process . Dont know if your tractor is auto or just a manual but try decreasing the rpm and see if that helps. I didn’t like this tractor that very much to start with but now i really enjoy using this tractor.

Thanks for the tips. Mine is manual, so no fancy auto shuttle. The clutch is properly adjusted per the manual, but I find that pushing the clutch all the way in seems to make the problem worse. lifting the pedal a bit seems to help it drop in. I still need to find the cable entry into the transmission and see what adjustments, if any, exist. The parts fiche shows a simple holding bracket with nothing else on the outside of the case.

Your 2660 is more or less identical to my 65, save for the auto shuttle, I think the engineers turned the horsepower screw to the right for the following year and declared it a new model.
