Need a little help,i was backing up,and the tranmission popped out of gear,i tried to put it in gars and it felt like it was going into two gears at the same time.It has been doing this off and on from some time,the shifter on the right feels like its not all the way in gear.(thats why it popps out)
I took off the plate on side of the tranmission and adjusted the gears back to nutural,but now when i put it in gear it pretty hard.moving foward i hear a clicking jerking noise,like there are some teeth broke off.
I have a factory mannual but it only shows parts and numbers.i have striped it down and am ready to pull the motor.would it be better to pull the tranmission with the motor are pull the motor and then remove the tranmission.
I have pulled and rebuilt the engine before but never got into the tranmission.looks like i have a big can of worms here and there crawling all over me.Thought someone out there may have been where i'm fixing to go,Thanks Ole Country Boy from Tx
