- Deere 4710/reverser, JD 318 (still needs TLC), JD LT160
Just got back from my dealer - no luck finding me a 4710 reverser /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif but my name is already on the first 4320 that comes in /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Here are some brief specs for the new large frame JD Cuts. Some may be redundant with previous postings - but here goes:
Four models, 4120/4320/4520/4720. The 4120 and 4320 are the replacements for the 4610/4710 respectively. The more powerful 4520/4720 go into new territory power-wise but are the same chassis. All are MFWD. All specs listed below are in the 4120/4320/4520/4720 order.
ALL models use 4-cylinder, 149 cu in (2.44l) John Deere PowerTech turbocharged diesels. Engines now have glow plugs.
Gross Horsepower - 43/48/53/58 at 2400 rpm. (note new lower rating speed).
PTO Horsepower (reverser) 35.5/40.5/45.5/na
PTO Horsepower (hydro) 35/40/45/50
(note - only reverser and hydro trannys available - and hydro only on the flagship 4720)
Torque @ rated speed 91/102/113/123
Peak torque @ 1440 rpm 109/127/141/154
(I think that's a better rise than before).
Implement hydraulic flow is up - 12 gpm vs. 10.6
Steering hydraulic flow is down 5.1 vs. 5.3
Total 17.1 vs. 15.9 GPM
Pressure's the same (2500psi) as is 3 point lift capacity and class (I).
Overall weight is up - 3700 lb vs. 3450 lb.
Fuel capacity is up 14.5 vs. 12.5 gallons.
Unfortunately no pricing or other specs available yet. The dash layout is changed but the pic on the one-sheet is too small to make out much. Cannot see a fuel filler opening on the hood in the photo, but it's a bad angle. Likewise from the one rear shot can't tell if it is now a rear tank or not. They are supposed to start shipping Monday (6/7).
