JOHN DEERE 4410
I have a 3 1/2 year old John Deere 4410 with about 425 hours on it. I had a oil leak where the front drive shaft comes out of the center housing. It was a oil seal that the drive shaft go through. Behind this is a bearing. the bearing was bad and had to be replaced also. Now whan I flip the switch to take it out of 4wd there is a noise like something is binding than releases. This does not happen when I put in in 4wd. I never heard this noise until now. I don't know of any adjustment. I don't want to any damage to the tractor. Does any body have any suggestion on this problem

I have a 4610 and all I hear is a clunk. It's done it since day one and even says it's normal in the Operators Manual.

I must have missed that part in the manual. What worries me is I never heard it before and it seems loud. Maybe the sound with get less with time. Thanks for the reply
