kiwiroo, no I do not have the air seat. I guess it would help some,but I think its more the side to side motion that is the back & kidney buster. I once checked on getting a air seat from industrialseats.com. They offered a model that had air ride plus 3 swivel positions at 7-14 and 21 degrees. It was quite pricey at around $925 USD. I have not been putting a lot of hours on my tractor lately so, right now I can't justify the extra cost.

I have the air ride seat on a 3720 with filled R4's. Air pressure is adjustable in the seat so one can adjust for comfort to an extent. I'd hate to have the standard seat as it rides a somewhat rough even with the air seat.

The standard seat and my Turf Specials on the back and it sure rides smooth. Ony think I gotta get used to is the boucyness of the turf specials on this tractor. On the 4310, they weren't as bouncy, might increase the psi a little to stiffen them up.
