3rd Function valve...

Thinking of adding a 3rd function valve from Everything attachments, is there any reason I could not Tee into the line or use a second set of line to the rear of the tractor for a Hydraulic top link?

Kind of expensive to add a 3rd function set up just for a hydraulic top link, unless it is a function that is used often. Do you need the top link to push and pull?

What else would you want to use the third function for. Plenty have used a second set of hose to power a grapple from rear hydraulics so yes, you can use another set of lines to power a top link.

Pressure will take the path of least resistance... if you have two thing hooked up, the one hose that has the least resistance will get the flow.

Just thinking out of the box... wonder if you can add two hydraulic needle flow control valves to close one hose vs. the other hoses.

Teeing into a line to add a control valve will not sucessfully operate a hyd control valve on an open center hyd system.

You could Tee the work port side, run a set of lines to the front for say a grapple, and the other set to the rear for your top link, but only one could be connected at a time for things to work properly. You cannot Tee the IN or OUT ports.
