3rd function question

Please excuse me if this has already been asked/answered, I've been looking around and haven't seen anything like this.

I am looking to add a third function to the FEL (grapple) as well as the backhoe (thumb). Can I "T" the lines to give a connection for both the front and the back from the same solenoid controlled valve ?

I can't imagine a time when both would be used at the same time so the hydraulics shouldn't be a problem.

I will say I am a fair shade tree mechanic but know very little about hydraulics.

your valve body should have another port that send fluild to your other remote valve ,

Yes, you can tee the work ports of the 3rd function valve as long as you only have only thing plugged in at a time, grapple OR thumb, thumb OR grapple.

Nailed it.

IF you have them BOTH hooked up, they will BOTH try to close or open at the same time. Gotta unplug the QD's for whichever one you arent using. Then they would act as plugs and allow full pressure to whichever one you still have hooked up
