3pt won\'t lower!!
I've got a B2100 that just got back from being in the shop for six weeks for a bad hyraulic line. Now after about 10 hours of catch-up work this weekend, I've got two problems. One is the sensor/relay that keeps the tractor from starting in gear. Been replaced three times, but last time dealer told me most folks by-pass it. Thanks! So I did by-pass the relay and it starts fine now.
Then after raising the brush-hog to go finish cutting, it won't lower. Can anyone elighten me about how the hydraulics work for raising/lower the 3pt and belly mower? I removed some of the parts of the lever/gears and nothing is stripped. It appears everything moves freely down to the piece connceted to the main housing. I can manually rock the gear back and forth but nothing moves regardless of whether the tractor is running or not. Also, is there anyway that bypassing the start-cancel could defeat the hydraulics? Can't imagine since the deck will normally lower even if the tractor is shut-down. Any help would be appreciated, I can't go without this tractor another six weeks!! And all the shops are backed up like crazy around here! This machine only has about 350 hours on it. Thanks for any help!
