I have a friend who has a 14 hp Kubota, manual shift, and uses a 3 pt. hitch log splitter. The splitter is from N. Tools, brand new. The problem is, it operates (forward and return) so slowly, it doesn't even seem worth using to me. It has plenty of power and will split most anything, just at a snail's pace. Is there anything he can do to boost output or is his hydraulic pump just too small to handle it (almost sounds like a personal problem, doesn't it?)? Thanks.
