3pt log spliter for my Kubota

First time posting...so hope that it works.

I would like first to thank all for the postings. I read and researched for some time now and finally purchased a 3430hst, etc. I did it by listening to you folks.

I am looking at the log spliter attatchments to do some spliting for my neighbor who is too old to do it himself and he heats only with wood.

Does anyone know who makes them and how they hold up and how the tractor holds up?

My next purchase in about 2-3 months will be a log splitter from TSC. Item 21-53304. It runs off from the rear set of tractor hydraulics, works in horizontal or vertical positions and has legs attached so it stands up off the ground by itself. It will be less than $800 including all hoses, tax, etc

One advantage is that it is a splitter only. No additional gasoline motor or hydraulic pump/tank/sysem to maintain. There are some other splitters out there without the legs that also pivot both ways. However, you must build a stand for them to keep them up off the ground enough to attach the 3PT hitch or quick attach clamps. Splitters are heavy.
