Chains are mostly for maintaining a set height with no drifting lower, but still able to lift.

Your putting a lot of extra stress on that one point. Thy hydraulics were built to support the weight.
I was thinking that too don't seem like a good way to load the top link bracket just figured I'd ask and see what the general thought was I saw someone on here recommend this at some point.Good point. Missed that one. With the chains pictured the vertical stress is transferred from the lower 3pt arms to the top link bracket, which is designed to handle horizontal stresses.![]()
