I have a 2006 dk40 with a category 1 3pt hitch. I just got a great deal on a woods t-310 backhoe attachment. Only a couple hundred bucks, in good shape. The problem is it is for a category 2 3pt. Is there any way to convert the category 1 to category 2 or am I out of luck. Not sure of the weight of the unit. It is an older unit and I couldn't find any info on it. Was used on a 50-60 hp landini. Are there any quick connect fittings that would turn the 1 into 2. Seems like the main difference between the two is pin size. Any help or ideas would be great. Thanks

That is a pretty big hoe for that size of tractor. I think it is a 10'. Woods rates it for a cat 2 tractor with 2000 lbs. of lift at the three point or more. I would be very afraid to install it on your tractor without a subframe and even then it might be to much. That was a fantastic deal you got on it . I would have bought it even if I didn't have something it would fit on.

Thanks, that is pretty much what I was leaning towards. Since it is a friend of mine selling it I kind of feel bad buying it at such a cheap price without a use. Might feel a little guilty for turning it over. Looked a little too big for my dk40.
