3pt auger stand

I needed a way to be able to take the tractor .auger and landscape rake with me to different jobs and be able to remove the auger by my self and also hook it back up . so I modified a 3pt auger stand i saw on here . Here is the results .works farley well just need some paint and it will look good.

I found some old tires still on their rims out in the pasture a couple weeks ago - may have to build me one of these.

Something like that would solve my auger issue as well. My only concern is when my inquisitive young nephews visit - does it have enough stability to survive being pushed and prodded?

the stand it self wuould be strong enough . just finished building it this past friday first time useing it . ther are a few mods I want to do . first weld a few eyelets to the rims so I can use two ratchet straps to secure the auger so it does not tip forward or back and fall off . and may be if it stays in one spot for a while might drive a few pecies rebar in the holes in the rims to make if more secureto the ground . all being said it was worth the 45 minutes to build
