Fortunately she was over at some friends of ours the other night. She saw their 10 ft tall gate made our of iron in a basket weave pattern. They did it themselves for $600. Needless to say the welder got moved up the short list...

Get her a welder for her birthday or anniversary:laughing:

We've been married for 38 years. My wife has a complete set of her own tools, chainsaw and 4wheeler. Every year, she can hardly wait for Xmas morning! LOL Its become a tradition! (works every time)

We have the 35 gal rubbermaid cans, they ride in the bucket just fine with it rolled back.
No need to put on forks or anything.

Id say get a cheap one..I had a cheap sears one now for 30 years and only replaced because i had some extra money. For basic welding you dont need anything fancy. I hardly ever use the different setting on my one one.lol
Yeah don't tell us you don't need a welder! I am on a sustained quest to convince the wife that this is the tool I really need. I only wish she had a very short memory.

With trash barrels and recycling bins, our little Kubota bucket getting too small for carrying it all in one trip. When we have the boxblade on, it picks up the slack, but our ballast box is lacking the space for the overflow, so I got a raincheck for the ATV hitch carrier from HF?

300 lb. ATV Cargo Carrier

The coupon discounted it to $35, which is reasonable for the added carrying capacity of 300# for both our tractor and other vehicles.

Hitch Cargo Carrier - 500 lb. Capacity

I was vacillating between this one and the "full-sized" 500# capacity one, but for the $20 + or so price difference, I didn't need the extra 200# that badly, and the kicker was that they both have the 3" hitch size (I thought that the ATV one was going to have a 2" hitch, requiring an adapter, so that was a good finding.
