Tractor
2015 Kioti RX7320PC, 1983 Kubota L275 4WD, 1981 John Deere 2440 2WD row crop tractor
The top links of my Kioti RX7320PC won't lower. The manual, in the troubleshooting section, mentions a "3PH safety lock one touch button". I have been unable to find any other description or the button's location in the manual. Where is it?

Do they normally lower with nothing on them? Mine won't without at least the quickhitch on.

Do you have a valve lock under the seat?

I didn't see any reference to a lock under the seat in the manual. I'll have to check when I'm at the tractor.

Does your manual, in the troubleshooting section about the 3ph not lowering, mention a 3PH safety lock one touch button?

Do you have the electronic controls for the 3 point or the simpler mechanical system with levers?

I tried to search some pictures and videos online about the 3 pt controls on that tractor but without sucess.

Turn your rate of drop adjustment. There is no power to lower, only raise. Without an implement it won't lower. The rate of drop could be adjusted too high.

There is no down pressure, weight controls the drop - the CK units have a valve below the seat to speed up the "drop" all it does is open the cylinder allowing fluid to flow - push the lever down and put some weight on the arm - the manual states if the 3-point hitch cannot be lowered: The valve and cylinder are damaged. Have them repaired at your Kioti dealer. - but first look for the valve I'm assuming the RX would still have one it should show a rabbit and turtle turn it in the direction of the rabbit!! If the RX has gotten real fancy and made it all electronic then you should still see a something that will allow the drop speed to increase (opens the valve).

I just solved one mystery and turned the speed adjusting knob below the tractor seat as far towards the rabbit (fast) as it will go. The top links very slowly lowered. Evidently when the knob is close to the turtle (slow) it requires something to be on the top links heavy enough to get it to lower.

There is still the mystery of the “3-point hitch safety lock function activated, one touch button pressed”, mentioned in the owner's manual, that needs solving. I.E. Where is it? I've got two Kioti dealers looking into this.

IE. Rate of Drop. I know that some of the SCUT John Deere tractors with a MMM have some sort of device to lock the 3PH up while using the mid mount because they both use the same hydraulics. Could that be what that is in reference to? And maybe you don't have that function on your tractor?

Or something in the original Kioti manual didn't get properly translated to English? :confused3:
