3ph lift arms

I have a DK40 TLB and just happen to try to raise the lift arms while the backhoe is attached.and nothing happened. I called the dealer to ask if the backhoe being attached would effect the the lift arm functunion on th 3ph? ( I know I can't use 3ph while backhoe is on, just wanted to see if it would operate.) Well the dealer had no idea if this is normal or not .He did suggest to disconnect the hyd.lines and than try the lift arm function. He also said that he was installing a backhoe on a Dk35 at the end of this week and would try the 3ph function . I won't be up Vermont till this weekend so I can't disconnect the backhoe lines till then to find out if this is why the 3ph doesn't work. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks, John

They may or may not lift. It depends on the way, the hydraulics are plumbed. Check the manual that came with your backhoe, it should show a schematic.

Is your backhoe plumbed in though your rear remotes? If so this would explain why it doesn't work. If you have your rear remotes in detent the 3 pt will not function.
