Kubota L3800
I previously had a kubota l3800 and it was my understanding that if I pushed the control lever all the way down to number 1, that was a float position for the 3 point. My first question is does anyone know if that in fact was true and my second question is does anyone know if my current Yanmar YT359C also has this float function. I have searched the owners manual cover to cover and I cannot find any mention of it. Thanks

The down pressure of 99% of tractor TPHs is generated by gravity alone.

-Hence, float is standard on 99% of tractors.

Hydraulic down pressure on TPH is an option on a few John Deere tractors.

Some old Belarus tractors also had TPH down pressure.

3PH will float upward from wherever position control is set. Exception for industrial tractors that may have power-down on 3PH. If position is set to it's lowest point it will float to it's full range of travel.
