3PH falls when engine off

I have a Shibaura sd2203. If I lift the 3ph and then shut the tractor off the 3ph immediately falls. Just as if I lowered it with the lever. Is this normal or should the 3ph stay up?

It should stay up if there's an implement on it, but slowly sinking without one is pretty common. Just falling, don't sound right to me. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Have you checked the adjustments for raising and lowering the three point?

The lift arms fall both with and without and implement.

What adjustments are you referring to? There is a knob below the seat that adjust how quickly the arms lower, but changing this makes no difference.
