3PH Dethatcher

Here is some pics of my latest project, a 3PH dethatcher. A special thanks to MadRefferee for the plans and ideas, but of course I modified them!

Specs:
6' wide...
About 70lbs or so...
18 duel rake teeth (38 tines) part# JD-2, from TSC, $1.82 each...
Approx. 2" tine spacing...
Built to mate to my I-Match...
Built mostly out of 2 1/2x2 1/2 x 1/4" angle (all free /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

Total out of pocket cost about 50.00 or so...

Nice job.

Just an FYI. I have the original 3pt dethatcher back in my shop right now. After two seasons of work it still looks like new. The reason it is back is that the owner wants to put adjustable gauge wheels on it because it's a little too heavy for his lawn. I will be posting pics when done.

SZ, I assume you are replying to MadReferee...Unfortunately he died over a year ago so he cannot fulfill your request Check the date on this thread, it's 2.5 years old!

I would like so see the plans esp if it includes the gage wheels why not just post link? So that is what happened to Madref to bad he seemed nice dude.
