i found a uv coating and lense polish at the local auto store. i applied it to my lamps after lettingthem dry.. goes in in 2 coats and cures decently fast... adds a nice seal to the lamp they you just ground on.
spray on, wipe off.. re apply about every 2m or so.. generally lasts thru at least 1 good washing.
least that's how it's holding on my vehicles.
good combination with the restoration polish job.
i guess if I knew how to shoot clear coat.. i might try that too..
