3616 parts

Any opinions on parts availability for Mahindra / Mitsubishi built tractors. Looked at a MF 1532 and a Mahindra 3616. Nice tractors , but I worry a little about parts availability down the road for the owners of tractors not sold by JD,Kubota and NH.

I know you can get Mahindra parts here: Mahindra Parts. I don't have a Mahindra tractor, so you might want to contact the dealer to see specifics about the parts you'll need.

I have had no trouble getting parts for our 2810. I usually get them through our local dealer or online from mahindrapartsonline.com

Thanks for the parts sites. I think if you had a part number to cross reference, Wix filters can be had for just about any tractor.

Yep and I even crossed some front axle bearings to Timken and ordered them from rockauto.com

Parts availability through Mahindra is excellent. I suspect you can always find some exceptions, but we are really proud of the parts department at Mahindra. A couple of years ago they moved corporate parts locations and that was a mess for a little bit as things were not in the right location and stocks were low due to the move, but we are beyond that hiccup now.

It should be noted that a dealer with a dedicated parts person that focuses on parts tends to have a better stock of parts locally and tends to get things quicker because to them parts is not a distraction from their other tasks, it is what they do. Once we put on a dedicated parts gal, it surely made us more efficient.

Get the usual scheduled maintenance parts from my dealer (Dave's Tractors, Red Bluff, CA) no problem--always has what I need for my Mahindra 5525. As for repair parts, after 5 years of ownership I haven't had any breakdowns that required that kind of parts.
