354 jinma light

i have a 354 jinma. there is a red light in the right hand side of the dash . could some one tell me what it is for ? thank you .

ON my Jimna it means that the key is in the on position. -Ed

Same here... only shows the ignition key is in the on position. Cheers.

Same on my 254. I put a green one right next to it and tied it into the glow plug circuit so I can tell when they are on.

Rats, now I have to go and run out to the barn to see if I have one and if it works! I don't remember seeing anything like that on my FarmPro 2425

red means stop green means go. As long as the red light is on you can't move

20 20 , the red light stays on permantly as long as the ignition is switched. My manual confirms that. Cheers.

Hey Fartypants I was making a joke notice the . My 254 does not have the light but my nortrac dozer does, your original post was on the money.

No problem, how do you like your tractor? I have the 254 and feel it was/is a great deal for the price. I also bought the nortrac dozer and have had very good luck with it. the only thing on the dozer that's been a pain are the track pins. They like to snap in half, but atleast a quick trip to TSC and some # 8 bolts fixes that.
