353H Glow Plugs

Having an issue with my Glow plugs. There is a bar that connects the front Two cylinder glow plugs then a break in the bar and another bar that connects the back two cylinders glow plugs. There are wires that go to each bar that are connected to the glow plugs. Should there be a break in that bar?? Also when I put a volt meter on the front bar I get voltage when I put the volt meter on the rear bar I get Zero volts. Any advice would be great.

I took a look at my plugs and they are connected in pairs only, there is a break in the center. I can't help you with the meter question. Did you ever get this resolved?
