- Getting old. Sold the ranch. Sold the tractors. Moved back to the city.
Amwellls1 said:I am looking to retire my ferguson to35, I am torn between these 2 tractors, the 35 has been plenty of tractor for what I need size wise. Is the 3525 enough or should I step up to the 5525. Any input or advice will be appreciated.
Dave Siemens (Dave's Tractor) will be here at my place in about an hour to deliver my new 5525 with the ML250 FEL and a new 6-ft brush hog.
It's Spring and time to take advantage of the tractor sales. I got a great deal on the 5525/FEL combo and financing at 0% for 48 months. Traded in my 2005 Kubota B7510HST/LA302 FEL (21 hp engine) for the 5525. My monthly payments will actually drop by nearly $100.
Now I have the 5525/FEL and my 1964 MF-135 diesel project tractor (currently needing a new oil pump). Going to go haying later this year on my 10 acre spread. Need the 5525 power to handle the plowing, discing and, especially, baling. I'll use the 135 for the lighter chores. It's going to be nothing but tractor fun from now on.
