Mahindra 3510 -- will not start without pumping the clutch while the key is turned on. By reading other threads, I am thinking it may be the clutch safety switch but I am unable to actually find that specific part online. What are you thoughts and is that a difficult part to change? Thanks in advance. PK

OK, thank you for the information...I just had the hydraulic system drained and replaced with a new filter. The problem persists. I guess I will take it to a Mahindra tractor repair location for diagnosis and repair. Thanks again. PK

I didn't try the link to see what you guys are talking about but just from what you posted so far you are headed in the wrong direction. The electro-mechanical clutch is for the PTO only, this tractor has a typical single disc dry clutch for the transmission. Early models such as mine didn't have a safety switch on the clutch anywhere, maybe yours is a late model that does have one. Just follow the linkage from the pedal to the bellhousing to see if a switch is present.
