3500 tires

Hey guys, i've been lookin around for parts for my tractor and todays search has been for tires. My rear tires are 14.9-24, pretty simple, not bad to find. But I don't know what size should be on the front of it. It has auto tires on it right now. I think they are 245 75 16 (just from memory). What would normally be on the front of this and what style? it is an industrial 3500 with a fel and box on the back. Thanks!

Tractor data.com list a 3600 as having 16.9 x 24 on the rear and 6.00 x 16 on the front. There is no 3500 listed.

If it has a loader, go for multi rib fronts, not tried ribs, more Ply=better.

6 or 6.5-16 works. I have 6-16 on a similar tractor

The 3500 Operator's Manual lists a range from 6.00-16 (4-ply) to 9.00-16 (10-ply l1). Load range varies from 1130 lbs to 2940 lbs for these. The 3500 max. vehicle weight (empty buckets) is 10,200 lbs; the max. static front axle weight with filled buckets is 7000 lbs. If you are working the tractor with a backhoe and a filled loader, you would want tires at the higher ratings. My own 3500 has 11L-16SL, which are specified as a backhoe application. They are Denman Super Backhoe II, 10-ply rating, 3762 lbs at 10 mph at 52 psi cold.

If it has 245's on it now, I'd look hard at 7.50x16 3 or 4 rib tires for those rims. Minimum of 6" wide rim.

I know it's long overdue, but I wanted to thank everyone that contributed to this thread. I got so busy with other things that I forgot about it. I have to do some tire shopping for one of the rear tires tomorrow. Tube is leaking and sidewall is coming apart. Fronts are going to have to wait.
