Tried my welding skills (not so good, haven't been welding for more than 45 years).
But eventually it worked, i'm happy with the result.
Got it right on the second try. On the first one of the cross bars got bent. Removed them and it seemed to work better.

I went with a claw for an old set of forks
I've got forks and I've got a grapple. There's been more than a few times I've had to run back to shed to change them out. That setup looks like it would work for me. Maybe I just need a bigger tractor. :)
