I just noticed the JD 345 IS a garden tractor, so what you plan is a good idea..So here in maryland the last 2 winters have been mild. 3 years ago we had back to back +12" separated by a week.
It would be mounted on a 345. I would want to leave it on all season and sell the plow with my other deere which is a gt235.
Yes, it did.. a Teflon spray can keep it that way. WD-40 as a second option.. salt is very nasty on steel..Cleans up nicely View attachment 564409View attachment 564410
If my driveway is level, are rear suitcase weights needed. I have 50lbs wheel weights and the rear AG tires are filled with fluid, i weight 180.Looks like it's in great shape!
Not to split hairs but that is a snow thrower not a snow blower. The difference is that a thrower is single-stage while a blower has the second impeller that helps out with the wet stuff. Both are available for the 345 but the thrower is a little lighter which should help out with the extra weight I was talking about.
Looks like you got a great piece of equipment at a nice price. Enjoy it and let us know how it works out!
