3320 Cab height with R4's

I know this question has probably been asked before but I cant seem to find it in the search so I thought I would just ask......How tall is the 3320 Cab with R4's ...?.....im trying to make sure it will fit in my garage......I already ordered it but thought I'd ask just to be sure I don't need to change my door up before it gets here.....Thanks Guys.....:thumbsup:

Thats funny, I just went thru this with my new Kioti DK40SE with a cab. (arrived Monday afternoon) The specs say it is 96.3" with R1's. R4's offer about 1" lower profile. I dont know what JD says about your model, but if they rate it with R1's...hope this helps.

JD rates it with R3's ....just checking to see if anyone has a measurement with R4's on it so I can be sure......

What is a R3? I know a R1 as a regular tractor tire, R2 is a rice & cane, and R4 is what i call an industrial hard lug tire, but R3 escapes me?

R3's are turf tires. Used for mower work anywhere you dont want to damage the grass.

I removed the top sill (2X10) and replaced it with a 1X10 to gain another inch...just in case. What height do you have from cement to top sill?

You need a backhoe. My backhoe drops the tractor almost 2". Tell your wife its either a backhoe or a major refit to the garage...:laughing:

Haven't checked lately but there were two sizes of R4 tires offered with the 3X20 when I ordered my 3720 cab tractor. I chose the smaller size just so it would fit in the garage doorway. I'm sure the smaller tires will work for you ........... don't know about the larger R4 tires.

Mine's in the shop now, so I can't measure. The 3x20 series offers two different R4s.
(a) four ply; 27x8.50-15 front, 43x16.00-20 rear
(b) six ply; 25x8.50-14 front, 15-19.5 rear
Given those numbers, the 4-ply R4s should make the 3x20 cab model a little taller than the heavier duty 6-ply option.

This is more info to add to my note above. Distance from floor to top of cab roof is 88.5 inches. My 3720 has the Galaxy R4 6-ply tires.
Rear: 15-19.5 Front: 25x8.50-14

According to the Galaxy website ATG - Alliance Tire Group here are the differences in rear tire sizes.

15-19.5 ===> 40.0 inches O.D.

43x16.00-20 ===> 42.6 inches O.D. (tractor height will be half difference or 1.3 inch higher)
