3110 spare parts...

hi Folks,
First off I would like to say thanks to everyone for taking the time to contribute to this forum. What a resource! I have read the entire yanmar section and learned more than I could have ever hoped for.
I acquired a YM 3110 last year and been messing around with it when time allowed. I have it pretty close now. But... there are a few extra parts. hopefully the picture comes through and someone may recognize what and where these belong.
I am in Alaska, any other owners from here?

Welcome aboard from Texas. :welcome: The yellow piece is a wire nut. It belongs on the end of a wire or wires or in your electrical tool box. The washer, spring and bolt I have no idea.

Wire nut is from local hardware store. Spring could be from throttle linkage.

That bolt looks like what is used to attach fenders etc onto an automobile. Dunno if it was ever used on a Yanmar.

The yellow wire nut is generic, and is widely used by electricians to splice wiring - generally household wiring.

The spring might be the only Yanmar-specific item. It doesn't look like it was intended to expand very far, mostly just hold tension. I hope it doesn't belong in the internal parts of the throttle governor.

Ha-Ha, thanks, I put the wire nut there for size comparison. These parts came in the box that held some parts when I got the tractor. I cant locate a place for them to save my life. The good news... It seems to run fine without them!

Surprised to see a gray market Yanmar made it's way to Alaska. Spent a week there in '91 in a friends cabin on the Kenai Peninsula, near the Tustamena Lodge on Sterling Hwy., seemingly aqbout 50 miles from everywhere.

Thanks again. These parts could actually be un-associated. The previous owner had torn it down just enough to get the steering box out for repair and all those pieces came in a box. I am guessing the unidentified parts somehow just ended up in the box I received from him. They could be off a snowmobile for all I know.

I have seen 3 other greys up here and read of a few others. Have not heard of any other 3110s yet.

When I get it going I will add some picts.
