3033 price?

After lurking for quite sometime here...I am ready to pull the trigger on a tier 3 G3033! This machine will be for personal/hobby use on my 5 acres in Cent. Florida. I have looked at all the major brands in my neck of the woods, and have decided LS definitely gives the most bang for the buck. I have a couple of quotes around 16500.00 for a shuttle tranny, FEL, and box blade. What price should I be looking for to get a really good deal? Thanks to all in advanced.

I have not done a demo with the hydro. The majority of my use will be maintaining the driveway, grass cutting, and general maintenance of the property. While the house is being built, I will be moving a little dirt around. Several people I have talked to say the hydro is not worth the extra cash if I am not going to be doing tons of FEL work, and I will like the extra HP for the grass cutting and gardening. What are your thoughts...and any idea where I should be for a really good deal ...price wise? Thanks!

Just my opinion. I think the hydro is worth every penny. The PTO hp is only minimal less than the shuttle. I think you'll find you will do more FEL work once you have it. Maintenance, landscaping and such. The nice thing about the hydro is you can feather your movement such as in a grass yard and not tear anything up. I'm sure there will be others reply that have both. I would definitely run one with a hydro before I pulled the trigger.

As far as the price maybe someone that owns a 3033 or at least priced one will post.

Taking into account an increase for the new year more or less says you're in the ballpark with the above figures from last year around April - July 2014.
