Problem; operator with severe sciatica (too many jumps), my 3016 seat rocks side to side, moving way too much! A couple hours of working in the seat and I can barely get in the house, I have to get all doped-up for the following days (the dope really isn't fun any more).
Solution; I developed and installed PVC struts that fit inside the two coil-springs under the seat and I replaced the hinge-pin with a set of nuts and bolts.
Result: a major reduction in the side to side movement.
