Let me start by saying I am not happy.......

I have had issues with this tractor since new with the loader holding the bucket or forks up with the tractor off. I really thought it was no big deal and was probably something stuck in the hydros.....

Now it is doing it while running at the rate of 1 inch per minute. I marked the spot on the cyl. and after 60 seconds, it has come out over 1 inch. I called my dealer who is an hour away and he said it was either a bad packing, or it is the lever for the scv. He wants it for 2 days.... Thats 2 days off work, and 4 hours on the road....

Any ideas on easy fixes? Anyone else have this happen?:(

Just curious, how many hours on your unit? I am just getting the same problem sorted out with mine, after approx 3000hrs of what I consider hard use.

Certainly not right. My loader will take several days to leak down if I leave it up. Can't your dealer send a tech out to work on it? Seem to remember that you just bought this tractor and that seems like it would be a reasonable response.

I definitely agree with Mech, either they send someone out or come get it.

:D I just looked, I have 32 hours on it. Its only 3 months old... maybe 4?

So, the forks are on it, and I can jump on the front of the forks and the cyl. will come out about 3/8 to 1/2 inch. Not knowing if they are supposed to have flex sucks. Seems to me they should be rock solid.

My dealer did not offer to come out. Normally he will tell me that someone will be in the area on x day, but it is hunting season in a few days... Probably bad timing. I would like to get it fixed before the salt is on the roads...

Anyone know if I should have flex in the dump cyl?

Also, when I fist got the tractor, the 3 point would go down, then jump up and inch when using the rotary cutter. That remedied itself and no longer happened after the 5 hour mark. Might I have some dirt in there or something making it leak?

Thanks

With regards to the rear, it does sound like you had something going and fortunately dodged a service bullet.

Dunno about the front with my loader still off.

That's definitely not right. My dealer told me that "spec" was something like a 1 inch drop per hour with a loaded bucket. That's not acceptable for an almost new machine.

Not sure about the flex. The hydraulic oil will compress some. If I could ever get home before dark I will step on my front blade and see if I get the cylinders to come out some.

Something tells me the flex is normal. It would help cussion the ride of the bucket offroad and help not to break stuff. After using the loader up/ down and dumping a lot to try to work stuff out, the leak down seemed to slow...

Who knows... I traded a perfect open station for this cab model and I hope I did not make a mistake.

my tractor has been parked for 3 or 4 days with the loader bucket about a foot off the ground and I have not seen a noticable drop...
