3 Pt Point Hitch Tractor Drawbar

/ 3 Pt Point Hitch Tractor Drawbar #2
There are some local implement dealers that fabricate these things for under $50.00. The problem with many of them is because the 3pt hydraulics are for lifting and have no positive down force besides gravity, there is little keeping the whole assembly from lifting as the trailer rocks or as it is being loaded, etc.

I bought a unit from this supplier that locks the 3pt arms securely in a fixed position. Good product, but more $$.

It's up to $66 now. I wouldn't go much more than that. You could take the pic to a metal shop or if you know a welder and see what it would cost to make one. You could add a chain to prevent the hitch from lifting unintentionally. I don't and have never had a problem. Just be aware of what you are doing, especially loading and unloading a trailer. With the $90 one at Bad River you still have to buy a $25 drawbar.

Grandad:

Looked at the Bad River site and got to say that their three point hitch attachment looks great. Good price too....the dealers around here want 200+ for the same thing.

Got to save my pennies for one of them.

Thanks for the link!

You can buy the parts from http://agri-supply.com/ that just bolt together for under $50. I built one a few years ago with their parts. Also, you can purchase one from Leinbach Equipment in Winston Salem, NC. I don't think they have a web site, but you can find their telephone number on the internet. Very nice people to deal with.
